Our Story
Momos have been a central part of our life growing up in Nepal.
Every few weeks, we would make momos toegther as a family where each member would have a task, such as kneading the dough, preparing the fillings, making the chutney and finally someone rolling the dough and creating wrappers while the rest of us would make different shapes of momos. A few momos would be steamed while the rest are still being made and we would all have a little taste of our dinner beforehand.
When we meet up with friends outside, our first choice of venue would always be a momo cafe as there would be endless places to choose from, all with their own specialties and chutneys.
Momos are not just popular in Nepal, but also in India, Tibet and Bhutan. For being such as versatile dish that can be consumed in many different ways (steamed, fried, soup, … ) and by people of all age, this dish yet remains unknown in many parts of the world. Hence, we have taken it upon us to introduce this dish here and make it known (or at least try) as a tasty alternative to a pizza, french fries or sushi.
Our momos and tomato chutney are HOME-MADE with fresh and local ingredients.

Ik ben echt enorm enthousiast! Het zijn heerlijke, smaakvolle hapjes die verrassend makkelijk klaar te maken zijn. Wat ik ook heel fijn vind, is de variatie, dus er zit echt voor ieder wat wils bij.
